Welcome to flying behind a Porterfield gas gauge! You can make a new one with 1/16” welding rod and two or three wine corks with a diameter that will just slide through the opening in the top of the tank. You’ll want to seal the cork with thinned epoxy first. To calibrate it, empty the tank, install the gauge, and, with the cork resting on the tank bottom, bend over the weld rod 90* and cut off the excess, so about 3/8” of leg remains.
