Keep the Skinny Birds Flying Safely

1940 PORTERFIELD • $22,900 • FOR SALE • July 9th, 1940, NC25591 began flying and still continues today with over 2600 hours TTAF. In 1999, the O-145-B2 engine was overhauled and has accumulated 200 hours since. The last annual was completed in December 2018. With the 65 HP engine you could blaze through the skies at a staggering 75 MPH while only burning 4 GPH. At a Max weight of 1,200 LBS and the useful load at 500 LBS, there is plenty of wiggle room in this 2 seater. Enjoy a rich history following the plane through the original logbooks, meet some celebrities, and put your mark in history. • Contact Joshua Best - CASEY AVIATION, -  located Rusk, TX United States • Telephone: 903-330-3990 903-330-3990 • Posted September 16, 2019

Check it out on Barnstormers.com where there are some nice photos of her. Standard red and silver factory paint scheme...not sure what he means by “wiggle room,” and 75 mph cruise?  Seems a bit low, even with the window slid all the way open and your elbow hanging out.
