Looking to buy a new spark plug harness

 I am close to getting my 1940 Porterfield together to fly.  Aircraft Spruce doesn't list my application:  Lycoming O-145B engine and SF4 mags.  Does anyone have a valid part number for this harness?Continue

I have completed restoration of a 1940 LP-65 Porterfield. It has been flown twice. I restored it as a favor to a late friend and his son. I never intended to keep it. One plane, a Cessna-172, is enough for me. I am hoping to recover my restoration expenses.See More

Retired from college teaching: physics. Recently acquired a 1940 L65 Porterfield, which is in need of restoration, partly due to Hurricane Wilma damage.
Own and fly a 1956 Cessna-172. Am currently restoring a 1926 Model-T Ford, my first car (1955).

Welcome to our porterfield Airplane Club. Have you had that Model T all these years? That's really cool! That's a good looking 172 also.

You might talk with LeRoy Blum in Nine Mile Falls, WA about your wing problem. He is known as "The Porterfield Guru" his E-mail is: llhavenhill@gmail.com.

Also Joe Rankin is the Porterfield Type Certificate holder. If you look in our "Notes" section and under "Porterfield Aircraft Certification" you will find his address and phone #.

I will also put out the word to all other members of you wing problem and maybe one knows something.
