About Me:
My Dad was Walter Jamouneau who designed the Piper J3. In going through his papers I found correspondence regarding an American Eaglet "Type 2 POLM" NC296N which he owned briefly in 1933 including letters to/from the Dept of Commerce relating to requirements to repair some damage etc. Interesting stuff and I hate to just pitch it. Anyone interested may send me an email and I'll mail it. No charge.

Hi Jeff!

Have you checked with Brad Taylor at the Antique Aircraft Assn’s Airpower Museum in Ottumwa, Iowa?  They have a rather extensive archive of documents relating to antique aircraft and take very good care of them.  Unfortunately, we don’t have a physical office for Porterfield documents and rely on Brad Taylor to care for our historical stuff...and your Dad’s papers certainly qualify for being historical. Thank you for reaching out to us.  Enough aviation artifacts have been pitched already!  Their email address is <antiqueairfield@sirisonline.com>.

Soft landings,

Andy Gelston
