I never got to see Spinach at Whiteman, it was locked away the only time I flew in there many years ago, but I've got a book - Antique Airplanes by Chris Sorensen, which has a chapter devoted to her, you might've seen it. Anyway, good luck with her, must be the most famous Porterfield of the lot.

Welcome to the Porterfield Airplane Club. I hope we can all help each other with our airplane problems. I don't know what the cables should be rigged to. I looked through all of my literature and have not found anything about flight control rigging. You might contact Joe Rankin and see if he can help you.
