Keep the Skinny Birds Flying Safely

We're excited to post the plans for our 3-ship Porterfield flight from Cable Airport (CCB), Upland, CA to Ottumwa, Iowa, for the Antique Aircraft Association flyin, over Labor Day weekend.

We'll leave here with our 3 Porterfields  (1940, 1941 Collegiates, and a CP 75) around August 25th, and plan to arrive at Ottumwa August 30th.  We're currently planning our route options (via the I 15 north, or the I 40 east, or I 10 south and east).

Our chase vehicles are a motorhome and a truck- so we'll need to stay near roads of some type.  We'd look forward to meeting other Porterfield owners / enthusiasts along the way. Contact me if you have any advice, input, or want to meet up, let us know.

It was good to see your red, white, and blue Porterfield aircraft at the Antique Airplane Association flying over Labor Day 2016

Ok - call me INEPT... we have a C-75-- NOT a CP-75... :)
