Sounds good.  I plan on coming up sometime in April with the skybolt and give you a ride.

Jason, good to hear from you! Had a great time at Chino. Met lots of old friends, and made new ones. Chatted with some new friends, the Hansons, of Mojave airport, who knew Fred Holloway, who owned our Porterfield before us.

Next year, a PORTERFIELD LINEUP! we got the engine of the red porterfield finally fired up (missing plug in carb was problem) and so we're very close to getting her in the air. I have your porterfield shirt printed- and will mail it this week. Are you all set with Scott McClain?

Jason - hello! Chris is not a Facebook guy, thus is unaware of 'friend requests'! But good to see your name on the web page. I'm looking for your phone number, as I'd like to see if you might have room for a show-stoppin T-28 Trojan in your hangar for a few days at Osh Kosh...

I've also got a waaay cool Porterfield T-shirt -featuring the 3 Porterfields of Cable airport that I'd like to send you-- have an address?

thanks-- Jerri (and Chris)

Jason, I'm so sorry for not getting back with you sooner. I'm on the road most of the time and haven't taken the time to respond to personal email as I should. Cable is just as you left it, a wonderfull place to hang-out and fly with your friends. The weather has been exceptional and we are getting very close to having our third Porterfield out of restoration. It will be very cool to have three flying together. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit.

Jason,
I've talked to LeRoy Blum and he sent me a bunch of info on the Porterfields. He has yet to join, but he has been very helpful. There is a Christian School here that wants to start building an airplane for a class project. I think it is a good thing to get the kids interested at an early age.

Jason,
We are glad to have you join us. Hope we can all benefit each other with technical info on the Porterfields and build lasting friendships. If you know anyone else interested, please fell free to invite them to join. Feel free to post pictures of your project and good luck restoring the LP65 and building the Waiex.
Tom
