A result of cooperation between the FAA, Organizations, Industry, Type Clubs and Owners Groups, the Best Practices Guide for Maintaining Aging General Aviation Airplanes was developed in 2003 to address the concerns of aging General Aviation Aircraft.

Endorsed by the AAA, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, and FAA, the "Best Practices" Guide is now available.
