Welcome to our wee club for the skinny birds, David. If you are much taller than 5'10" and heavier than 180#, you will find the Porterfield cockpit uncomfortable, if you can even get into it. Rearwins tend to accommodate larger people.
Porterfields are soloed from the front seat only, which places your face about a foot away from the instrument panel. It is a bit claustrophobic, but you're usually acclimated to it by the time you've taxied to the end of the active.
Look through the forum, blogs and photos sections and you'll find addresses of the various locations that Porterfield had offices. A few of the buildings still exist.
