About Me:
I am planning to rejoin the vintage airplane world after a lengthy absence. In the 1980s, I was a busy vintage owner/pilot: Chipmunk, C90 Cub, two Luscombes and, for a memorable year, a T6G. Life got in the way of my hobby but, now, I'm pulling on the flying jacket again and looking for a new mount. I navigated a friend in an L3 from Georgia to S. Dakota in 1989 and we had a landing mishap. The man who rescued us, welded the gear and got us airborne turned out to be Joe Rankin. He introduced us to his Porterfields and I have never forgotten their appeal.
Do you own a Porterfield Airplane? N#?
See above: looking !!!
Are You a Pilot? Ratings?
Yes, though not current.

Hi Bryn. Thanks for the message. It just so happens that due to a medical problem my co-owner is unlikely to be able to continue in our 2 man Porterfield group for much longer, a bit of a jolt after nearly 36 years! Therefore there will probably be an opportunity to gain a share. Any information you need I can cheerfully offer in any event. Perhaps email communication would be would be better on sharpe04@hotmail.com (that is if this website will allow email addresses.
