Bringing an old aircraft design into the modern era

I stumbled into a video on Facebook today concerning the Helio Courier. What intrigued me was the effort to bring the aircraft design (1950s) into the modern era; i.e. paper into the digital age.
It speaks volumes about the effort required to bring an older Type Certificated aircraft back to production in our time.
