If you're over 5'10" and 180 pounds, you won't be very comfortable in a Porterfield. The instrument panel is literally a foot from your face, because you should solo only from the front seat. It's a bit claustrophobic when you first get in, but you're acclimated to it by the time you get lined up for take-off.
You'll find Collegiates for sale, flying and projects, in the Forum section. I assume you'll be keeping your skinny bird at KFUL?
