If you’re less than 5’ 10” tall and 180 pounds, you should be quite comfortable in a Porterfield, though some find that having the instrument panel about a foot in front of your face to be a bit claustrophobic: most get used to it in the first hour or so.
There are plenty of flying and project Collegiates out there, and a few Flyabouts. You may find some in the Forum and the Blogs sections, along with a lot of other information about the skinny birds. When you get your Porterfield, please share with the membership your adventures and misadventures in the Forum or Blogs.
