Wingroot radio installation

Since we have no wing tanks (with few exceptions), I've seen some nifty installations of radios in wingroots. I've seen only the models that fit in a 2-1/4" hole though. Some have a COMM and an transponder, this one has just the COMM, but a hole for a transponder is there. This old girl has a wind driven generator, mounted below her landing gear vee, for a power source. There's a Collegiate in Mexico that has an even nicer XPNDR/COMM installation.
