Porterfield Formation flight to Ottumwa!

We're excited to post the plans for our 3-ship Porterfield flight from Cable Airport (CCB), Upland, CA to Ottumwa, Iowa, for the Antique Aircraft Association flyin, over Labor Day weekend.

You're very fortunate. My Collegiate was cobbled together by a couple that sort of knew what they were doing. The result was very pretty, and it received a lot of press covereage in the mid-80's, but it was hardly original.
I've been able to replace the instrument panel with one that meets the factory print and removed a lot of other items and mods thatmay be a homebuilder's dream but are an antiquer's nightmare.
I'd like to get a better look at your wheelpants someday, take some profile photos with a tape measure in the picture, so I can compare them myself to the Taylorcraft wheelpants, and see if they really are the same.

Welcome to our Porterfield Club. Looks like we might eventually get everyone interested in Porterfields from Upland to join. Make sure you post some more photos of your CP-65. It looks real nice with the wheel pants.
