I have owned and restroed a 1941 Porterfield, that was found as a direlect, it took me for years to restore it to better than factory new. I kept it for nearly 10 years, flow it back to Indianas, from Corona California. The flight took 24 hours and nearl three days of flying time. I let my self talked out of selling it, one of the bigest mistakes in my life.
