It has been several years since I endeavored to help my dad finish his Porterfield. Shortly after we started, I relocated to Montana. Now I'm back in Ohio and determined to finish this project. He and I began in earnest a few weeks ago. This time we have help from a couple of friends, one who's an A&P and another who's an IA.

A few weeks ago I took on the task of helping my dad finish the Porterfield project that he purchased in 1985. Although I have no experience rebuilding a plane, my father belonged to a group, for a short time many years ago, that restored old planes. However, in spite of his knowledge, there are still some questions that I have that he is not able to answer. Sorry, I rjust noticed that I responded to the no reply email address. How does 9/10 work for you? That is the Open House at Packer Field from 11a on. I'll be there late afternoon but there will be eats and drinks and Stearmans, etc hopping free rides.
