N32347 LP-65 father & son rebuild

A few weeks ago I took on the task of helping my dad finish the Porterfield project that he purchased in 1985.  Although I have no experience rebuilding a plane, my father belonged to a group, for a short time many years ago, that restored old planes.  However, in spite of his knowledge, there are still some questions that I have that he is not able to answer.  Therefore, I would be eternally grateful for any information, advice, or support that fellow club members are able to provide. …

Thanks Bryant!  I'd advise converting to a CP-65 if you can, but I am enjoying my LP-65 even with the 0145 B-2.
