Keep the Skinny Birds Flying Safely
It has been several years since I endeavored to help my dad finish his Porterfield. Shortly after we started, I relocated to Montana. Now I'm back in Ohio and determined to finish this project. He and I began in earnest a few weeks ago. This time we have help from a couple of friends, one who's an A&P and another who's an IA.

A few weeks ago I took on the task of helping my dad finish the Porterfield project that he purchased in 1985. Although I have no experience rebuilding a plane, my father belonged to a group, for a short time many years ago, that restored old planes. However, in spite of his knowledge, there are still some questions that I have that he is not able to answer.
