"I will check with my mechanic who built the mount.  We did have to tweak them slightly to get the correct fit. Status update:  We have the rebuilt C-85 F mounted and exhaust fitted.  We are doing the ducting work and cowl adjustments…"

"My A&P just finished my mount and he might be willing to make another one.  Just let me know.  We just got it fitted to my fuse and my C85 is being rebuilt in the next few weeks."

LP 65 to C85 Conversion

Need fuselage drawing for LP/CP65

Fellow club members: I have engaged a vintage DAR. To assist with the engineering analysis for a C85 conversion for the 65 Porterfield. I need the fuselage drawings to help get the analysis going.  My DAR has contacted the Rankins and they will try to help, but their drawings are still boxed up and things are difficult to find. If anyone has the drawings I would be very interested in getting a copy.  Please help if you can. I am certainly willing to pay for copies.  The analysis will not be…

New Member looking for Lycoming 145 Parts

I just picked up an LP 65 Porterfield and I am looking for head gasket sources.  JP Hackenburg phone number no longer works and El Reno is closed. Any ideas where we can source head new gaskets and engine work?
