"Steve, Thank you for taking the time to send the exhaust drawings that you have. I will compare them to my 1/4 scale blueprints, but at first glance they appear the same and are much easier to read.  I’m proud to be a Skinny Bird…"

"Hi Lee, Welcome to the group and Skinny Bird ownership! I’ve attached the drawing that came with my bird, and I can only hope that it helps. I haven’t used it for manufacture, so I’m not able to vouch for it."

CP65 Exhaust

Hello to the group. I just became a very proud owner of a CP65 and I must  say it is one of the most impressive aircraft I have ever flown. My question for the group is in regards to obtaining a new set of exhaust manifolds for my Continental engine. The previous owner had always used Wag Aero as a source ordering pipes for an Aeronca Champ which fit nicely. Unfortunately, as you know that is no longer an option. Hello Lee, I had a similar problem with some Champ exhaust that I got from I believe wag arrow. One side worked well with the cowl exit holes, but the right side did not. If you want to send me some  contact information I can tell you what our solution was. It took a bit of fabricating. We have a 1940 LP 65 collegiate that’s been converted to a continental a 65. NC27249. These are amazing little birds!
